Cyriocosmus venezuelensis sp. nov. from Venezuela, State of Lara and Carabobo, is described, diagnosed and keyed. The new species can be distinguished from all other congeners by its uniformly coloured carapace, dark ventral band on the abdomen and by the paraembolic apophysis in male palpal bulb being half the length of the embolus. Cyriocosmus rogerioi Pérez-Miles & Weinmann, 2009 is placed in the synonymy of Cyriocosmus pribiki Pérez-Miles & Weinmann, 2009, from which it does not differ in any characters of specific significance.
